“SNATCHED BY GRACE ~ WHEN JESUS GRABBED ME”
There are moments in our lives when it seems like the enemy has won. When sin has entangled us, when shame has silenced us, when darkness has surrounded us so tightly that escape feels impossible. We’ve all been there: stuck in patterns we couldn’t break, places we never thought we’d go, or battles we thought we’d never survive. In those moments, the devil celebrates too soon. He thinks he’s secured the victory over your life.
But then Jesus steps in.
Not because we were strong enough to climb out. Not because we were perfect enough to be worthy. But because grace grabbed us. Jesus reached into our pit, our pain, our brokenness and pulled us out. He didn’t wait until we got it all together. He came while we were still trapped, still hurting, and still falling.
That’s the power of the gospel. When the devil thought he had the final say, Jesus declared, “It is finished.” When Satan rejoiced over your defeat, Jesus redeemed your story. He didn’t just rescue you, He claimed you. He made you His. He turned your shame into testimony and your scars into strength.
Now you walk, not as one barely escaping the fire, but as one sealed by grace, covered in mercy, and walking in the power of a Savior who never let you go.
God is not just a lifter ~ He is a rescuer. When others gave up on you, when even you gave up on yourself, Jesus stepped in and said, “You are mine.”
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Psalm 40:2 (NIV)
Lord Jesus, thank You for grabbing me when I was too weak to grab hold of You. Thank You for reaching into the mess of my life and pulling me out with mercy in Your hands. The devil thought he had me, but You had a greater plan. You never let me go, even when I let go of hope. Lord, help me never forget the power of Your rescue. Let my life be a living testimony of how You save, redeem, and restore. Strengthen me to walk in freedom and use my story to reach others who feel trapped by the lies of the enemy. Thank You for the cross. Thank You for grace. Thank You for grabbing me ~ You saved me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen and To God Be The Glory!
