“WHEN THE HEART GIVES MORE THAN IT RECEIVES ~ STOP EXPECTING WHAT ONLY GOD CAN GIVE”

“Don’t expect people to be there for you just because you’re there for them. Not everyone has the same heart as you.”

Wake up, child of God. Too many of us are bruised because we placed our hope in the hands of man. The king of hands that tremble, hearts that waver, and souls that are selfish. You poured out your love. You gave your loyalty. You carried burdens that were never yours. And yet, when your storm came, where were they? Too often, the very ones you stood by will not stand by you. Not because they are cruel, but because their hearts are not like yours. And that is not your fault ~ it is the human condition.

It’s a bitter truth: the world will not always return your kindness, your loyalty, or your love. Sometimes, the hands you lifted will not lift you. Sometimes, the voices you encouraged will not speak in your defense. It can feel like betrayal, rejection, or loneliness, and yet, these moments are divine invitations to recalibrate where your hope truly lies.

Do not let disappointment harden you but let it awaken you. Your trust cannot live in flesh; it cannot thrive in the shifting sands of human loyalty. Your trust must be planted deep in God. Only He is unwavering. Only He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and rewards every act of love.

Your heart is sacred. Guard it fiercely. Do not dilute it by expecting others to mirror your faithfulness. Keep giving, keep loving, keep serving, not for applause, not for return, but because God Himself is watching. He honors the unseen, He rewards the overlooked, and He blesses the faithful beyond what eyes can see.

Do not waste your life chasing the approval of people who cannot appreciate your heart. Let their absence push you closer to God. Let their silence be the echo that reminds you: His love is enough. His strength is enough. His presence is enough. And when He shows up, the overflow is eternal.

When you give your heart freely, you are displaying a reflection of God’s own love, a love that expects nothing in return. But when you expect reciprocity from man, you set yourself up for disappointment. People are imperfect, hearts are flawed, and loyalties shift. Only God is constant. Only God is unchanging. Only God will never leave you when you are at your weakest.

Do not let the absence of others’ support harden your spirit. Instead, let it sharpen your faith. Let it teach you to lean on God with an unwavering confidence that His love and provision are sufficient.

Almighty God, I refuse to be shaken by the absence of human support. Let my heart continue to love, my hands continue to give, and my spirit continue to serve, even when no one notices, because I know You see all and reward all. Lord, make my heart resilient, my faith unshakable, and my soul rooted in You alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen and To God Be The Glory!
