Isaiah 54:17

The phrase "No weapon formed against me" is from the King James Version of the Bible, Isaiah 54:17. The full verse reads: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

Isaiah 54:17 is part of a larger passage where God is speaking to the people of Israel through the prophet Isaiah. The chapter is filled with promises of restoration and protection for Israel after a period of suffering and exile. Here’s a bit more context:

Restoration and Blessing: The chapter begins with a call for Israel to rejoice because God will restore them and make them fruitful again (Isaiah 54:1-3). God’s Compassion: God reassures Israel of His everlasting kindness and compassion, despite their past unfaithfulness (Isaiah 54:4-10).

Future Prosperity: God promises to rebuild Israel with precious stones and to establish them in righteousness, ensuring their safety and peace (Isaiah 54:11-14). In this context, Isaiah 54:17 serves as a powerful conclusion, emphasizing that no weapon or accusation formed against God’s people will succeed.

It’s a declaration of divine protection and vindication, assuring Israel that they will overcome their adversaries through God’s strength.

Amen and To God Be The Glory...
