“A HOLY STAND: NO MORE TOLERANCE FOR WHAT ONCE WAS”

There comes a moment in every believer’s life when the veil is lifted, and clarity replaces compromise. In the past, we may have tolerated behaviors, relationships, thoughts, or habits that pulled us away from God’s will. Whether out of fear, loneliness, or ignorance, we allowed things to remain that were not meant for us. But the Holy Spirit stirs something deep within us, reminding us of our worth, our calling, and our authority in Christ.
“What I tolerated before, I would never tolerate again, and I firmly stand on that.” This statement is not one of arrogance, it is one of redemption. It is the voice of someone who has encountered truth and chosen to walk in the light. The Apostle Paul instructs believers to have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness. Why?
Because tolerating them delays your destiny, dims your discernment, and damages your spirit. God calls us to draw a line in the sand, not with bitterness, but with boldness. We are not who we were. We are a new creation, and it’s time our boundaries reflect that.
To stand firm is to protect what God is building in you. It is to say: No more cycles. No more compromise. No more silence in the face of sin. I stand in the light, and I will not return to the shadows.
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11 (NIV)
Heavenly Father, Thank You for opening my eyes to what I once tolerated. Thank You for calling me out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. Give me the strength to stand firm in truth, even when it’s hard. Help me to walk in the authority You’ve given me, and to never again allow what You have delivered me from. May my life be a testimony of transformation and courage.
In Jesus’ name, Amen and To God Be The Glory!
