MOTHER
YOU’RE A BLESSING FROM GOD
 
Gods’ creation – so unique
Perfected with compassion – to nurture the weak
To give shelter – to comfort and nourish – to teach
As I lay my tired head upon your breast
Shielded to rest – to sleep
 
Till death you will defend – Work hard till days end
Hands blistered and worn – with less sleep – you begin again
All in the name of Motherhood – genetically inclined
Trademarked in Heaven – as “glorious and divine”
 
To wipe my tears – to teach me the way
Opening the channels to the Heavens
Through the “Commandments” God gave
 
From childhood to adult – nurtured within
The comfort of “A Mothers Love”
Is from the heart – it never ends
 
You prayed for me in sickness with God leading your way
Strength gathered from the Lord as you knelt to pray
By my side is where you will always stay
I love you so much Mom
