Why I wrote the Devotional "Biblical Answers to Life's Pressing Problems"

GREETING FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

I received an inquiry regarding my Devotional, “Biblical Answers To Life’s Pressing Problems”.  I was asked what Inspired Me to Write the Devotional “Biblical Answers to Life’s Pressing Problems” and What Was My Main Goal in Creating This Devotional?

My answer was simple and to the point:

The inspiration to write my Devotional “Biblical Answers to Life’s Pressing Problems” was born from seeing the overwhelming pain, confusion, fear, and uncertainty that so many people face every day. As I looked around at the world and listened to the struggles of family, friends, and even my own heart, I realized that people are desperately searching for answers. They search through self-help books, social media, opinions, and worldly advice, hoping to find peace, direction, and lasting hope. Yet I came to understand that the greatest answers have always been found in God’s Word.

Throughout my own journey, I have witnessed the faithfulness of God during seasons of joy and seasons of heartbreak. There were moments when I didn’t know what to do, where to turn, or how circumstances would change. Time and time again, I found myself opening the Bible and discovering that God had already provided the wisdom, comfort, encouragement, correction, and promises I needed. His Word became my source of strength when I felt weak, my guide when I felt lost, and my peace when life became overwhelming.

That personal experience planted a deep desire within my heart to share those same biblical truths with others. I wanted to create something that would point people away from temporary solutions and lead them directly to Jesus Christ, the One who never changes and whose promises never fail.

My purpose was never simply to write another devotional. My desire was to create a daily companion that would help people connect life’s most pressing problems with God’s eternal answers. Whether someone is struggling with fear, anxiety, grief, loneliness, discouragement, forgiveness, financial hardships, family difficulties, illness, uncertainty, or spiritual battles, I wanted them to discover that God is present in every circumstance and that His Word speaks powerfully into every area of life.

I also wanted readers to understand that Christianity is not about having a perfect life. It is about having a faithful Savior who walks beside us through every trial. Life will always have challenges, but God’s promises remain constant. His grace is sufficient. His mercy is new every morning. His love never fails.

One of my greatest goals in writing this devotional was to encourage readers to develop a deeper and more personal relationship with God. I pray that each devotional causes someone to pause, open their Bible, meditate on Scripture, spend time in prayer, and trust the Lord more fully than they did the day before. My hope is that my Devotional becomes more than something people read, it becomes a tool that strengthens their faith and draws them closer to Christ each day.

Another important goal was to remind people that no problem is too great for God. The circumstances we face may seem impossible from a human perspective, but nothing is impossible with God. Every page was written with the hope that someone who feels hopeless would find hope, someone who feels broken would discover healing, someone who feels discouraged would be encouraged, and someone who feels distant from God would return to Him with confidence, knowing that His arms are always open.

My Devotional is ultimately a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Every encouraging word, every Scripture, every lesson points not to my wisdom but to God’s wisdom. If even one person comes to know Jesus more intimately, if one heart is comforted during a difficult season, if one family is strengthened, if one believer grows deeper in faith, or if one soul accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior because of these pages, then every moment spent writing this book has been worthwhile.

My prayer is that readers will come away knowing that God’s Word is alive, powerful, and relevant to every situation they face. I want them to remember that regardless of what tomorrow brings, God is still on the throne, His promises are still true, and His love remains steadfast forever.

One of my favorite scriptures: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

I hope I’ve answered your questions fully and I also pray that you take away from this an understanding that as for me, I’ve been through the fire, I’ve walked in many shoes, I also let myself be led down those spiral steps to hell with my eyes wide shut ~ “TOTALLY LOST”.  It was God who reached down and grasped that broken body, meeting me just where I was, and brought me through. Oh yes, I have a testimony, and in all I say or do, I always end with “Giving God The Glory”. For it is He who guides my steps and is my mouthpiece in every situation.

That’s why I must thank Him for placing this message upon my heart and for giving me the opportunity to share His truth with others. I pray that every person who read the Devotional “Biblical Answers to Life’s Pressing Problems” will experience His love, His peace, His wisdom, and His transforming power. I pray that they open their hearts to receive His Word and strengthen their faith through every trial they face. I also pray that my Devotional will help them to trust Him completely, even when they cannot see the path ahead.

Lord let my Devotionals be a source of encouragement, hope, healing, and spiritual growth for all who read it. Let every page point hearts toward You Lord and remind readers that Your promises never fail and Your presence never leaves us.
