“LOOK HOW FAR YOU’VE COME”

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by how far we still want to go. Whether it’s healing, growth, purpose, or progress, we often measure our lives by what’s still undone. But God calls us not only to press forward but also to pause and reflect on how far He’s already brought us.
In moments of discouragement, it helps to look back. Not to dwell on past pain, but to recognize God’s faithfulness. Every battle He’s brought you through, every door He’s opened, every habit He’s broken, every night you cried and still woke up the next day. That’s evidence of His hand on your life.
Just as the Israelites were instructed to set up memorial stones after crossing the Jordan (Joshua 4), you too should take note of your milestones. The road ahead may still be long but take a moment today to thank God for the grace that carried you this far.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
Heavenly Father, thank You for the journey. When I get discouraged by how far I still want to go, help me remember how far I’ve come, by Your grace alone. Thank You for every trial You’ve turned into a testimony, and every setback that became a setup for Your glory. Strengthen me to keep moving forward but never forget to give You praise for the progress. In Jesus’ name, Amen and To God Be The Glory!
